ho ho ho!

On Christmas morning one little fella says to us: "This is my very first Christmas!!!". Um no kid, its actually your 4th. But this is the first you understand! He had so much fun, and we did too! The cutest thing about Santa coming down the fireplace was the milk that got spilled by the cat within 5 mins of it sitting there. You know when milk gets spilled in the carpet and it gets a bit crunchy? Yeah that happened here. Well a few days later Carter stepped in it and said "What happened here?!?" I said "Oh that silly Santa spilled the milk!". He said "I dont think so, I think his boots were dirty and he tried to clean it up but didnt do a good job." great.

I have been MIA from here. A) because my "r" is still broken and I have to copy and paste it in to use it. B) I have been lazy.

I will be posting more once my key is fixed. I have my phone I can use now too, but I dont know how to get the pics up from there.

Christmas is almost here. Actually its like 3 days away. My husband is downstairs as I type this, he is wrapping my gifts. I wasnt expecting him to get me anything actually. He just got me the above mentioned phone, that has internet on it, and I thought that was my gift. I scored!!

So I have come to terms with the fact that this whole "Santa" thing is hard. It is! Its hard to hide the gifts. Every time I open the closet I think something is going to fall out! Thank God its over soon.

yeah, so I dont have any pics from little mans bday party. How bad of a mom am I? Now my poor kiddo will wonder why he has pics from every other year but his 3rd bday. uh.

Jesse was out back looking around when he found some "stuff" that belong to Waldo. Turns out the coyotes didnt get him, and Owl did. Stupid owls. I have never like owls, they are creepy with their big ol' eyes and the way they "Whooooo Whooooo". No thank you. So here I was all blaming the coyotes that live here, sorry big guys.

Well we got a new kitty cat! I know so fast! But I couldnt dont think I could handle Carter asking about Wally or telling people that our cat was lost, or our cat didnt have a head anymore. I thought a new kitty might kind of distract him from what was going on, and I needed a lap mate, and oh did I get one. ha! We rescued him from a shelter that is inside of a local Petco. I fell in love with this one right away, and this was after going to 3 petco/petsmart and 3 shelters wondering what to get a cat or a *gasp!* dog. Carter was scared to death of the dogs, so that was out asap. Then we went to the petco and found "Snickers". He hugs you. He really does. He is meowing at me right now. Its like having another kid in the house that is beggin for your attention. Good thing Carter and Henry (changed his name) get along so well!

Where's Waldo?

Well a ton has been going on since I was last on here.. We have had fires in San Diego, we have been evacuated at 3:30am, I had a nasty bug that made me throw up every 5 minutes, but worst of all I found my cat dead this morning. The Coyotes got to him. The funny thing is, is he is an indoor cat. He goes out at night with Jesse for a bit, but always comes back in.. but not last night.

2 posts in 1 day!!

Okay, so I had a rough morning/afternoon/evening today. But alas it got better. We went out for Thai food, little mans choice..then Jesse said "Hey look a coffee shop! And they are playing music, and there is a firepit". He of course said this all in a joking tone, and I said "Hey, that sounds great, I want to go". So after we were done eating we headed over for coffee, and then left. We wandered to the car but we heard some music, so we sat down outside of this place and drank our coffee and Carter danced the night away. It was perfect. Then I hear "mommy, I just peed". Fun times, I look down and there is a puddle. So I took him to the bathroom (Jesse tried, but there was some super secret code you needed to get in to the mens room) and he peed some more and then back to dancing. The fun thing about potty training.. You can ask and ask till you are blue in the face if they have to go, and the answer is always "no!!". Then when you give it a break, they pee.

But we had fun, and we will go back and repeat this night again. I dont want a repeat of the morning/afternoon/evening thing again.

Lovely image huh? This is how I am feeling right about now. Poop. I feel like a failure at everything I have been doing lately. But hey! The house is clean. After I got some news about a friend of mine, some news I am not going to share on here.. But it made me think about life, and how it is so short. You cant be mad. You could walk outside and get hit by something and then it is all over. It sucks. But its true. I need to get over my pity party. Jesse said I need to focus on the positive in my life. I will try and do that more and in return, maybe I will post more. ha! So with that said...

My personal training session is done for now and I lost 5% body fat in almost 3 weeks with the trainer. He was glad about that! I am down 4lbs. But it will soon be more!

(no negitive thoughts...) lol.

Papa and Carter

Carter. Jill and I met up with my parents and our Aunt and Uncle this week in Newport Beach. We ended up at Fashion Island to eat (big shocker..our family at a mall?!?! That is unheard of.) but on the way to the Yard House, Carter saw a train. Uh oh. So Jill and I told him that if he ate all his lunch he could go ride the train with papa. He ate and was great at lunch so he and Papa walked over to the train with all of us laggin behind. We got to the train to find Papa getting on it as well. I thought Papa was just going to watch. Nope! Little man wouldn't have it any other way, than to have Papa riding on it too. They had fun, Papa got dizzy, we forgot our camera (or forgot we had them with us *cough*)so my camera phone had to do..

I finally got a new car. Well not "fianlly" since my Honda element wasnt that old. But if you know my family, then you know we like to change cars faster than we change our underwear. But I had been looking for awhile now and I got this bad boy: A 2007 Jeep Commander! I really wanted a sunroof this time for some reason. I not only got one.. not two.. but three sunroofs. How rad is that? I have one in the front and then the 2nd row (oh yeah thats right the 2nd row) has 2 sunroofs. The third row doesnt have a sunroof or leg room, but they have their own cup holders and air controls! It has leather, it has a navi system, and it has a backup camera and sensor. SO RAD! I can't wait to take it up to O.C. tomorrow! Little road trip!! And then in 2 weeks to AZ!! BIG road trip!! WOO!

Oh yeah. I got the new nano too. that pretty much rocks.

Wedding time!

Tiffany and Kyle got married on 9-8-07. What a great date! You know what makes it even better? It was my parents 40th wedding anniversary! Go mom and dad!! woo! Tiff, Kyle, I hope that you two are having a wonderful time in Phuket!

Okay back to where I was going with this. They had the cutest little boy in their wedding. Really they did. He listened so well and walked right down that aisle and stood where he was supposed to stand, sat when he was supposed to and walked back when told to. Oh.. I think I might have a picture of him..

OH SNAP! Thats my kiddo! haha. Well, he was cute, and he did a great job! Oh and he loves butter.

Tiff, that was a great wedding! Cant wait to hear all about the earthquakes and tsunamis.. oh wait I mean Honeymoon! I hope that you guys are safe! hurry back!!!! xoxo

no more fatty fatty 2x4!!

We hope! I joined a gym, and I have actually been going! WOO! Not only have I been going, I have been liking it! And.. I have a personal trainer that I met with today. I have a goal in my head and he knows what it is and I have a "gift" waiting for me when I reach this goal. I hope to be there, no wait. I WILL be there by nov. 1! 20pounds..need to go away and then around dec you shall see my "gift". I am excited to do this and be healthy. I was told what my body fat was...and it isnt pretty. But I really dont want to look like that. <---- LOL!

That pretty much sums it up. I cant imagine why... haha. the brownie I had last night has nothing to do with it. The lack of working out has nothing to do with it, and the lack of motivation has nothing to do with it either. But after seeing Tiffany this weekend and seeing myself in pictures, well that is enough motivation for me. Oh I wish my scanner was hooked up right now and I would post the picture that Tiffany gave me. A picture of me in a bikini when I was like 13. wowzer I had a great body then, but didnt we all! So now after having a baby *cough 2.5 years ago cough* I need to get back in some sort of shape. I know I can do it. I have lost all my weight I put on with little man and then another 20 on top of that. I need. Yes need. to loose about 10 maaaaaybe 15 more, and then we shall see what happens from there.

Starbucks and Airplanes

Carter loves to go to any coffee shop in the morning. It was great when the one down the street was open *cough cough* and we could walk to it. But now we go to the local Starbucks. He loves going to this one to watch the airplanes fly over, the first time we went there it scared the crap out of him and his head went right up my butt. fun huh? The second time we went there he threw a fit like I had never seen before, and now I know why. He wanted to go sit on the back patio and watch the planes come in and take off. This pic over here is him watching it land.

This of course is zoomed in bu man they are close!! This is not a major airport at all. But they do have some pretty big planes that come in there!

Goobers and Goobers

My BFF is getting married in less than two weeks. WOO! Congrats yet again lady! I dont know how many more times I can tell you congrats, so I think I will stop now. You know I am happy for you!! We had her bachelorette party this weekend and now I can hardly walk. I feel like my legs are just going to fall off. That would not be fun, I would not be able to walk down the aisle then nor wear my pretty purple dress. But anyway... back to what I wanted to talk about. We went pole dancing. Yep you read that right, we learned how to spin on the pole like a pro. It was super fun, and I would do it again. Tiffany on the other hand...I think she had TOO much fun! I think you missed your calling girl! haha! I have pics, but I will only post the last one that was taken of us as a group shot. Love ya girls, and I had a blast!!!

So I have been lagging

We all know how that goes, right? Please tell me I am not alone in this. I am shocked at how some people *cough*Amanda*cough* can keep up with kiddos and be able to keep up on blogging. I have been told I need to update, so here I am. Don't you feel special?

The 3 amigos!

Sarah and Cam came out from HI this past week! It was a great surprise!! We had to get the 3 C's back together for some fun in the sun at the park we used to hang out at, and then of course we had to go to Wahoos! Carter and Cam playing "Monster"! Bubble time!!!

So I am finding out that I suck at this. I think about updating it everyday too! I swear! But then one thing after another and I forget. Thanks to Amanda...maybe you will keep me on top of things, not that you will be busy with two kids in a few days.. but come on, you know you will have time to tell me to update!! I will post pics and tell you a few things tomorrow. Someone just texted me and I am waiting for the pizza guy.

A day in the life of Carter.

Little man just being cute in the back yard! Actually.... I had to bribe him to go sit by the fish.
This is Bumu. Bumu was Carters imaginary friends, and I had the idea to bring him to "life" at Bulid a Bear. Now this dog goes everywhere. I tried to sneak him out of the house when I went to Tiffanys for the night so I would have something of Carters (awww)..but no. He wouldnt let me. He noticed that Bumu was no longer on his bed. So I got stuck with Lambie.

Carter LOVES firetrucks. I think he is going to be a fireman! Anytime he sees one he goes "weooo! Weoo!" Lucky us, the firemen have set up camp right next to the park until the new "firehouse" is built. But it was kind of funny.. Carter was checking the truck out and a few of the guys came out, said Hi to Carter and then asked if he wanted a hat. What does my child say? "No thank you". Dude. Take the hat. So now he has a plastic firemans hat that he looooves. Oh and they started the truck up, scared the crap out of him. For those of you that know his love of garbage truck sounds, well you know this ended bad.

Well here we are...

I decided to start a blog. Funny huh? You would think with my myspace I could do a blog there. But I think I have a problem trying to do one there...I end up clicking my life away looking at other things! Hopefully being here I can stay on track! I wanted to start a blog today (well I had been talking about it for awhile) after looking at some friends blogs. I want a place to write down funny things that happen with Carter, and I want a place to record my weightloss..or lack there of... I need to get back on track and focus. Think I can do it? I sure hope I can. First things first. I have to get this place all set up and pretty right??
